She graduated with honors from the Faculty of Dentistry at the Poznan Medical University in 1997. She is a specialist in general dentistry, an Active Member of PASE and a member of the Polish Endodontic Society (PTE). She also completed a year-long series of PSI Implant Curriculum training.

In 2013, she was the first dentist from Poland to pass the exam and receive a diploma summarizing three years of advanced prosthodontic training at the Vienna School of Interdisciplinary Dentistry (VieSID) – Therapy and Treatment Concepts. In the same year, also in Vienna, she completed a one-year training series in dental technology – Curriculum Gnathology and Occlusion in Interdisciplinary Dentistry with Focus on Dental Laboratory. In 2017, she completed a four-year advanced orthodontic training course under Prof. Sadao Sato: Orthodontics in Craniofacial Dysfunctions.

Since 2016, Agnieszka Szygenda is a licensed VieSID teacher and conducts basic and advanced training in Poland.

On a daily basis, she deals with complex diagnosis and treatment of both orthodontics and prosthetics. She specializes in total occlusal reconstructions for patients with temporomandibular joint dysfunctions.
